Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Site Controller in our Cleveland, Tennessee Hot Stamp and Assembly Facility. The Controller is responsible for producing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, prepare site specific forcasts and analyze current and future financials. The ideal candidate will have prior Controller experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

  • The production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintenance of accurate and complete accounting records.
  • Maintain and enforce a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk.
  • Proactively analyze operational performance
  • Seek cost savings opportunities
  • Forecast future operational performance seeking the most accurate information and collaborating with operations management.
  • Assist with development of standard costing inputs
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with all financial partners.
  • Enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, including accurate balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Audit physical inventory counts and monitor cycle count program, monitor overall inventory controls
  • Manage Month end close of the General Ledger and reporting cycle
  • Manage and develop site financial analyst

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
  • Ability to use data whenever possible to drive your decisions, use of your strong analytical skills to translate data into action planning.
  • Able to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • CPA Credentials
  • Prior management experience
