Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our Project Management team in completing building automation and temperature control projects. As a Controls Technician Support Specialist, you will provide support labor to an existing crew of field personnel and gain hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the completion of building automation and temperature control projects, including delivery of equipment and materials, on-site labor assistance, and general duties as directed by the senior project manager.
  • Continually enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
  • Display team effort and dedication to customers by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires.
  • Enjoy the experience while learning valuable skills during your time working with professionals in the building automation field.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Enrolled or to be enrolled in a technical program. HVAC/EMS focus preferred but not mandatory.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e., smartphones, iPads).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
  • This position requires working in diverse conditions, including mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage).
  • This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.

Compensation: $20-23/hr

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
