Position Information

This position is responsible for verifying Graduate Assistant contracts, assistantships, tuition waivers, trainings, and payroll change policies and processes are completed. Request and track background checks for Graduate Assistants, manage and assign graduate assistant checklists, serve as liaison between Registration and Records, HR/Payroll, Customer Accounts, Academic Colleges, and Financial Aid. Gather, manage and synthesize information for reporting to the Dean. Support recruitment and admission processes for prospective graduate students and applicants by assisting with graduate applications, respond to student inquiries via in-person, phone, email and ChatBot.

Advertised Salary:

$53,000+

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or;

• Associates degree with 3+ years direct experience or;

• 5+ years direct experience within a higher education setting that provides the incumbent with the knowledge, skill, and ability to successfully perform the job

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer skills (ability to use spreadsheets, word processors, databases). Advanced Microsoft Excel experience is required.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• PeopleSoft/Oracle experience

• 2+ years experience in a higher education setting
