As a Principal Business Development Representative, your role is to build a pipeline of qualified opportunities for our Sales team by focusing on outbound sales initiatives to prospective customers within targeted industries. You will be a brand ambassador for Cornerstone business, acting as the foundational entry-point for prospective customers, guiding them through their initial interactions with Cornerstone and effectively transitioning them to Account Executives.

Your efforts in building a robust pipeline of opportunities are not just about hitting targets; they're about fueling our mission to redefine the future of work. Your contributions will directly influence our growth trajectory and the transformation of global workforce management.

In this role you will...

  • Manage and action a high volume of outbound communications to support Account Executives.
  • Source new business opportunities through strategically researching accounts, identifying key contacts, conducting personalized outbound communication.
  • Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into new opportunities by effectively following up with our most engaged prospects.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with senior business executives by developing an understanding of their companies, the challenges they face and how Cornerstone can address their needs.
  • Work in close collaboration with regional sales managers and field marketing specialists to define and execute on a joint prospecting strategy.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual pipeline generating goals.

You have what it takes if you have...

  • College Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an SDR/DBR role, working in a scale company environment.
  • Alignment with Cornerstone's Mission and Purpose.
  • Analytical thinking skills, allowing you to understand needs of prospective account, promote respective value of SkyHive products and establish appropriate next steps.
  • An ability to understand and promote SkyHive's products and value propositions in an engaging and thought-provoking way.
  • An analytical mindset that allows you to diagnose inefficiencies and optimize processes to maximize results.
  • An understanding and ability to research all assigned accounts.
  • A Hunter Mentality, as you will need to develop and generate qualified opportunities.
  • Transparent communication skills, with no hesitance to seek out coaching and feedback.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently including a strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work off-hours to serve global customers across many time zones.
  • Ability to work well with others and collaborate.
