We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

The Technician Media Prep position is available at our Animal Health facility in Worthington, Minnesota. The Worthington facility is expanding operations to manufacture vaccines for large and companion animals. Leveraging an experienced and innovative team environment, the key technologies at the site are biologics production using fermentation and cell culture platforms and filling and freeze-drying.

This position will help with the preparation of intermediate components media solutions, environmental monitoring, cleaning disinfecting and working with autoclaves.

Responsibilities:

  • This position will help with the preparation and filtration of media solutions, cleaning and steaming tanks, running autoclaves, making and wrapping tubing, etc.
  • Position prepares media, operates autoclaves, and performs necessary cleaning/disinfecting of equipment and laboratories.
  • Position works in a clean, aseptic environment (cleanroom environment) at times as well as in the kitchen area.
  • Written SOPs and Outlines of Production must be followed.
  • Position must understand and comply with cGMP guidelines and complete and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • High School or equivalent

Experience and Skills:

  • Some manufacturing experience helpful but not necessary

Shift:

  • Monday- Friday 10am - 6:30PM with possible weekend work and overtime that may be required depending on schedule
