Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing estimates for time needed for extra repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is a plus.
  • Strong dexterity, requiring steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
  • Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Capacity to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
