JOB SUMMARY

The role of Program Analyst (PA) is one that requires timely management of data and people. APF's interagency programs focus on developing and maintaining relationships with partner agencies for the purpose of crime reduction and criminal justice reform. Reporting to the Director of Interagency Programs, this role plays a vital support function for the Repeat Offender, Court Watch, Crime Stoppers and APLI programs. A candidate for this role much be capable of organizing and analyzing data while working as part of a multi-organizational team. Primary responsibilities will include a focus on APF's Repeat Offender initiative, which includes management of the Fulton County Court Watch Program.

The PA will be responsible for providing content and analysis of data generated by Atlanta's Repeat Offender Commission, working group, and tracking unit (ROTU). Additionally, the PA will provide material support for all publications created by the Tracking Unit by routinely researching crime trends, legislative actions and sentencing outcomes. The PA must possess strong project and data management skills, in addition to leadership ability. Publications and deliverables created by the ROTU must be factual, professional and on time. The PA will be expected to work well within a team environment but be capable of independent thinking.

This position will require that you successfully work with stakeholders from a variety of fields including, law enforcement, legal services, social services, and academic institutions. Your success in this role will be determined by your ability to remain organized, proactive, and thorough.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create content for the timely publication of repeat offender updates and annual report Coordinate and convene meetings by the Atlanta Repeat Offender Commission Maintain up-to-date statistics on repeat offender sentencing Work productively with interns and APF employees Maintain relationships with regional law enforcement, academic and legal professionals Research and report on a variety of judicial, technological and law enforcement related topics Attend internal and external meetings as necessary Help with APF marketing, mailings, and other material distribution Research and report on APF Board member activities Monitor and provide quality control over data analysis projects Attend APF events Interface with Atlanta Police Department and other external organizations to accomplish program goals as needed Work with the APF Programs Team to create synergies where possible Provide high level customer service to both internal and external stakeholders in providing project deliverables Consistently evaluate and improve on program outcomes Attend/manage & represent the Court Watch Program Other duties as assigned
