Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Engineer II to join our team in the Annapolis Junction Area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supports systems engineering principles throughout the system's lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
  • Contributions to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
  • Maintains the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
  • Developing tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended.
  • Leveraging Python, C, Linux.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Automation experience; Researching and designing automation technology; Creating a connection between information inputs, controllers, and outputs.
  • Experience with configuration management and tracking tools such as Ansible, Terraform, puppet, chef, GitLab.
  • Experience in VM Ware.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Focuses on DoD artifacts and documentation.
  • Automation experience; Researching and designing automation technology; Creating a connection between information inputs, controllers, and outputs.
  • Knowledge and experience in working Development Operations; automate and integrate the processes between software development and IT teams.
  • Experience with use case development, requirements derivation, developing technical project artifacts.

Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
