Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the transition of data to Microsoft 365 (M365) and OneDrive, guaranteeing smooth integration with minimal impact on business functions.
  • Develop and execute plans for transferring data from on-premises NetApp storage to M365 and OneDrive, following industry best practices and security protocols.
  • Administer and optimize global NetApp storage solutions, focusing on configuration, performance, and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate storage performance and capacity, implementing proactive strategies to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to collect requirements, outline project scopes, and deliver storage solutions that meet organizational goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for storage-related challenges, including resolving incidents and conducting root cause analyses.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Enforce data management policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal practices.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and emerging technologies in storage and cloud computing, assessing and recommending improvements as necessary.
Essential Skills:
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Experience in data replication, backup, and disaster recovery in both cloud and on-premises settings.
  • Proficiency in migrating data to Microsoft 365 (M365) and OneDrive, with a thorough understanding of cloud migration strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of NetApp storage systems, including their configuration, administration, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Storage Engineer or in a comparable role, specializing in NetApp storage solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex storage challenges.
Certifications Required:

IAT Level II certification and CompTIA Security+ CE are mandatory.

Experience:

Candidates should possess either a high school diploma or GED with 19 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 14 years of experience.

Clearance Requirement:

This position necessitates a TS/SCI FS poly clearance.
