We are currently hiring a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Applications Leader who will have responsibility for WMS and Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) related software applications to drive best in class design through innovative solutions and execution of the strategic application roadmap for the platform. This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite a week) and will be based out of our Davidson, NC office location.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements related to warehouse management and mobile supply chain functions, along with provide functional guidance and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, offering training and documentation as needed.
  • Play a key role in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring the applications are up to date and delivering optimal performance. Implement and configure the MSCA module to support mobile and handheld device functionalities for warehouse operations.
  • Design, configure, customize, and integrate Oracle R12 WMS and MSCA modules to fulfill business needs and to ensure alignment with industry best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and implement solutions that align with the warehouse's needs.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation including process flows, configuration, setup documents, and user training materials. Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to ensure the quality of deliverables along with monitor and analyze warehouse KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for process optimizations. Recommend cost reduction alternatives with business cases and perform operational analysis, process improvement, facility, and capacity planning for projects.
  • Strong focus on automation and optimization within warehouse operations, participating in i4.0 strategy discussions and coordinating new innovations at sites. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate WMS and MSCA modules with other Oracle modules or third-party systems.
  • Assist in data conversion and migration activities from legacy systems to the Oracle WMS and MSCA modules including integration of 3PL into either back end or front-end systems.
  • Creating, analyzing, and managing slotting strategies for multiple distribution centers and warehouses across the enterprise.
  • Support the design and implementation of facility logistics processes, machinery, equipment, and innovative storage concepts. Utilize analysis, simulation, and planning tools to improve operations, model product supply chains, and provide potential improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of IT operation support, vendor management and partnering with business stakeholders.
  • 5+ years functional design, configuration, customization, and systems data integration experience with Oracle Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) applications or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain management, and industry best practices around shipping and receiving.
  • Proficient in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with knowledge including Inventory, Order Management, and Purchasing a plus.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications along with strong documentation skills and ability to develop process flows, configuration documents, and user training materials.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of maintaining system synchronization with 3rd party entities and a proven problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of facility logistics processes, machinery, equipment, and storage concepts along with emerging technologies to provide expertise and guidance in this space.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% with a mix of domestic and internationally.
Base Pay Range: $120,000 to $150,000.

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
