Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Healthcare Applications Specialist to join our team. This role involves working closely with HCA Healthcare, one of the foremost providers of healthcare services in the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and deployment of case management technology solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on system and business processes related to Case Management Services applications.
  • Oversee the maintenance and support of the Case Management departmental information system.
  • Focus on system integration, implementation, and troubleshooting for all Case Management Services applications.
  • Plan and support upgrades, configurations, and customizations of tools utilized by Case Management Business Technology.
  • Ensure system integrity through data review and monitoring.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with support teams and vendors to resolve technology issues.
  • Provide advanced support for system users and coordinate communications with end users.
  • Design and maintain reports that align with business requirements.
  • Build effective relationships with project teams, clinical leaders, and IT staff.
  • Work with ITG to ensure compliance with best practices regarding electronic health records.
  • Utilize knowledge of case management functions to propose technology solutions for business challenges.
  • Participate in various testing phases including UAT and System testing.
  • Contribute to the lifecycle management of assigned applications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology product development and implementation.
  • 3+ years of experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience with MEDITECH and other acute care EHR systems is advantageous.
  • Scrum or Agile Certification is preferred.
  • Six Sigma or LEAN Certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Careport and Midas is beneficial.
