What You Will Do

Join our team as a Senior Finance Manager (P5) within the Columbus Forge Blades Operations business unit, where you will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy and operational excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning while contributing to the success of our dynamic organization.

  • Lead the data collection and the analysis of Factory HFM/Cost per Hour/Factory Productivity.
  • Manage the data collection and analysis for cost reduction data.
  • Lead the consolidation and analysis of capital expenditures.
  • Supports the annual strategic financial planning process and deliverables.
  • Partners with and supports functional business leaders to support various projects.
  • Provide guidance on footprint business cases.

  • Enhance your proficiency in analyzing operational efficiency and performance metrics critical to manufacturing operations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, analyzing data to pinpoint inefficiencies, and recommending strategic actions to improve cost effectiveness.
  • Gain exposure to strategic decision-making and financial forecasting techniques essential for long-term business planning and growth.
  • You will be exposed to the following systems: HFM, OneStream, Hyperion Essbase, SAP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate's degree and 7+ of relevant industry experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access and handle sensitive data required to support our government and military programs.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Math (STEM) Degree. Accounting or Finance fields preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP, HFM, BW or Power BI, and MS Office programs.
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating large data sets.
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and Financial Planning.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Government accounting compliance (GAAP).
  • Experience with Excel-VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and creating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or aerospace environment, and large corporate finances.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
