Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Oversight:
Manage daily general ledger functions and month-end closing activities
Review and authorize journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules
Guarantee precise and prompt recording of all financial transactions
Maintain the chart of accounts and implement necessary modifications
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
Supervise accounts payable and receivable operations
Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
Monitor cash flow and manage the collections process
Budgeting:
Lead the annual budgeting process
Prepare and analyze budget variance reports
Assist in budget-to-actual comparisons and explanations
Consolidation and Mapping:
Oversee the consolidation process for various entities or subsidiaries
Develop and maintain consolidation mapping frameworks
Ensure accurate elimination of intercompany transactions
Reconcile and validate consolidated financial statements
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Develop and maintain essential financial reports for management
Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits
Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification is preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role
Experience in public accounting and the manufacturing sector is preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Experience with consolidation processes and multi-entity reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strong communication and leadership qualities

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strategic mindset, capable of managing intricate corporate accounting processes while effectively leading a team.
