About the Role:

As the Transportation Group Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and directing transportation engineering projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, managing project budgets and timelines, and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of transportation engineers and support staff.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of transportation projects, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to achieve project objectives.
  • Drive business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  • Mentor and support team members, promoting professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale transportation projects and teams.
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning, design, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships and drive business growth.
