Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Transporter/Delivery Driver to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering food, supplies, and other products to our units and areas of service using a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up requisitioned supplies from our staging area and receive completed production orders from our staging clerks.
  • Inventory items to ensure completion of production orders and load orders onto the truck with assistance from our staging clerks in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Unload requisitioned materials at delivery sites and follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
  • Ensure hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with company standards and meet all sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise and perform routine maintenance on the truck.
  • Interact with coworkers to ensure company service standards and provide quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail.
Requirements
  • A valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required.
