Position Details:
Summary of Duties:
Perform a variety of assignments in the care of large animal species and facilities within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Work schedule, 11:00am-8:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in farm work or maintaining livestock; OR equivalent education/experience.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-8pm.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with and caring for equine, bovine, ovine, and caprine species.
- Experience with following biosecurity protocols.
- Experience hauling large animals.
- Experience using farm equipment including trucks, manure compactor, skid steer front-end loader, tractor, gator, animal dump truck, and sweeper equipment.
- Experience in general maintenance and repair.
