Position Overview:
The role involves assisting with the professional student instructional laboratories within the Clinical Instructional Service area. Responsibilities include supporting students during laboratory sessions and surgical procedures, as well as providing necessary pre- and post-operative care. The technician will also be responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining laboratory equipment. Leadership of temporary staff may be required. Candidates will be considered for various levels based on their experience.
Qualifications:
For Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1:
- Six months of full-time experience or training in the relevant field; or equivalent education/experience.
For Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant instructional area; or equivalent education/experience.
For Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 3:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a basic applied science and two years of full-time experience as an Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2; or equivalent education/experience.
Mandatory Requirements for All Applicants:
- Must successfully complete the radiation safety training exam on the first attempt.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a teaching or laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with small and large animal care.

Technician 1: $3,393 to $4,517 | Range 39 (Steps A-M)
Technician 2: $3,811 to $5,117 | Range 44 (Steps A-M)
Technician 3: $4,093 to $5,501 | Range 47 (Steps A-M)
Successful candidates typically start at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
