About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Per Scholas. As a key member of our National Business Development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through the development of new business opportunities and the expansion of existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and implement client pursuit strategies, and establish new Talent Solutions clients.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective employers, senior-level hiring managers, and client contacts to identify and uncover their technology hiring needs and challenges.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase staffing placements, schedule and conduct client calls and presentations, and close deals to meet revenue goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including campus-based Per Scholas staff and national teams, to connect Per Scholas alumni to employer clients.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Analyze new trends and opportunities within the industry to develop and maintain a strong understanding of the market and competitors.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Proven ability to drive business growth, develop relationships with C-suite executives, and self-generate business development opportunities.
  • Business Development Experience: Experience in business development activities, including technology and creative staffing services, with enterprise firms.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct large and small group presentations.
  • Business Knowledge and Analysis: Strong business knowledge and analysis skills, with the ability to understand business challenges and develop solutions.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead and work effectively within a performance-driven environment, with a focus on driving revenue and business growth.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000-100,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. We are a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment with a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.
