Job Description

**Quality Assurance Automation Specialist**

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our team at City National Bank. As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in executing test automation initiatives and plans related to functional, smoke, and regression testing, as well as test data management and test environment strategy and provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product and technical user stories, as well as, requirements and functional and non-functional design specifications and create test cases and automated tests
  • Develop and execute automated testing scripts/code per standards
  • Participate in code reviews for automation scripts
  • Participate in building and maintaining infrastructure needed to build and execute automation scripts
  • Participate in test data management automation efforts
  • Integrate with CI/CD to establish continuous test cycle
  • Participate in development of QA methodology, templates, and best practices for testing
  • Collaborate with other teammates to develop test strategies to tackle complex testing scenarios
  • Recommend improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of testing teams and reduce technical debt
  • Partner with developers and other automation engineers to build the tools and infrastructure to ensure production code is thoroughly tested to the highest standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with test automation
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with and testing relational databases

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Candidates with domain knowledge and experience with lending applications like nCino, Empower, MSP, NetOxygen, etc. would be preferred
  • Addendum for Front End/Application Testing: 4-6 years of experience automating web, mobile, and API layers in both Windows and Linux environments
  • Addendum for Data Engineering Testing: 4-6 years of experience in validating data across various data platforms/interfaces
