BAE Systems is seeking a test automation engineer with at least 6 years of engineering experience to work on a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile, fast-paced development environment. Assigned tasks may include the Automation of Tests, development of Test Plans, Test Procedures, integration and requirement sell-off. The Test Engineer will coordinate with the Technical Team to accomplish program tasks, provide technical solutions, and support system integration on the program.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading the testing and integration of complex and large software development projects. This position requires support of customer meetings and operational system deployment and support activities.

Because of the need for intermittent in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform a portion of work onsite, this position will be considered hybrid. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility as well as remotely, when applicable.

#IJSRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with software integration and test processes for software development programs
  • Experience with requirements verification and stakeholder validation for software transition to OPS
  • Must hold an active Secret clearance
  • Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities
  • The ability to engage constructively with peers and technical leads to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs, and technical decisions
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Understanding and application of modern software development and systems engineering practices, design principles, techniques, and technologies
  • Highly motivated and able to work well in both team and solo settings
  • Knowledge of open, standards-based architectures, interfaces and geospatial data
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Excellent team player who is willing to contribute in any capacity
  • Able to deliver in agile sprint cycles
  • Ability to innovate, evaluate and research new technologies while staying abreast of industry trends
  • Full Life-Cycle Systems Engineering Development experience
  • Experience with issue tracking systems such as JIRA or GitLab
  • Experience using Cameo or MagicDraw for MBSE development
  • Good planning and organizational skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $191070

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
