About the Role

We are looking for a self starting Field Marketing Manager with a strong field marketing background, event planning skills, and general marketing expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing extraordinary marketing programs targeting customers and prospects that directly contribute to the success of our sales goals. You'll work closely with our Head of Partnerships to craft programs that generate partner pipeline which include partner events, enablement, and content. This role requires a combination of strong planning, organizational, communication and execution skills. Ability to take an idea and turn it into reality is critical. Open source or developer marketing experience is a bonus.

What You'll Do

  • Own execution and success of all field events based on leadership goals
  • Contribute to partner and channel marketing strategy to prioritize strategic partners for joint marketing
  • Identify and execute in-person field events, workshops, regional webinars, partner hosted events and industry conferences to meet engagement and pipeline targets
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, budgeting, pre and post promotion, registration, and post-event follow-up.
  • Drive collaboration within the marketing team on lessons learned and best practices to continually challenge and improve the marketing model
  • Monitor progress and measure results of all key marketing campaigns and events through post-event surveys, and Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Maintain direct alignment with our sales team in terms of all pre and post event communication, marketing-driven campaigns, and event promotion strategy

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years experience in Field Marketing, event marketing or partner marketing field
  • Willingness to travel (40%) in support of programs and company meetings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with SFDC (reporting, campaign management, data management & hygiene)
  • Marketo, Google Analytics knowledge a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Partner marketing creation and content generation
  • Experience in SaaS, open source community and/or observability ecosystem
