Field Marketing Manager

Job Summary
Fortive Corporation is seeking a skilled Field Marketing Manager to join our North American marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating demand and accelerating deals across Canada and the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive field marketing plan to drive programs with the goal of generating quality leads and pipeline, accelerating the sales cycle, and building customer relationships.
- Own the field marketing calendar with a focus on industry conferences, tradeshows, proprietary regional events, and customer events.
- Identify and evaluate third-party events that match target accounts, verticals, and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP).
- Form strong relationships with top industry shows/organizers, associations, groups, vendors, and thought leaders.
- Manage the on-site execution and operations of our conference presence and booth builds, speaking engagements, and proprietary events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and marketing to secure buy-in, set goals, and identify new opportunities for regional success.
- Manage virtual webinar-based programs from inception and promotion to execution and follow-up.
- Craft email marketing campaigns and nurtures with a strong focus on live and virtual-based events.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of programs.
- Monitor performance, analyze results, and iterate on strategies to optimize ROI and achieve business objectives.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, on the impact of field marketing efforts.
Requirements
- An understanding of demand generation best practices, principles, and tactics.
- Experience managing events and conferences of all levels, as well as speaking engagements.
- Demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple programs with self-sufficiency and agility.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence.
- Experience working with channel/alliance partners a plus.
- Travel as required, up to 20% of the time.
- 5+ years of proven marketing experience in field marketing, event marketing, and/or demand generation; B2B SaaS experience a plus.
- Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce) and marketing automation (Pardot).
- Ability to work with marketing analytics tools to track performance, analyze data, and generate insights.
- Ability to analyze and action provided in data visualization tools.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline.
