Program Associate Position at N Street Village

N Street Village is a community organization dedicated to empowering homeless and low-income women in Washington, DC. We provide comprehensive services to address various needs and help women achieve stability and progress in various aspects of their lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop positive relationships with clients through regular communication
  • Assist in program setup and cleanup
  • Serve meals and conduct intake screenings
  • Respond to client needs and crisis situations
  • Complete program documentation and provide support tasks
  • Collaborate with volunteers and partner agencies
  • Participate in meetings and quality improvement activities
  • Adhere to agency policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and social services experience, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with vulnerable populations, addiction, and mental illness
  • Familiarity with DC's Homeless Management Information System
  • Knowledge of homelessness issues and trauma
  • Values promoting inclusive services
  • Experience with data visualization techniques
