How is this Role Important to Our Work?

The Compensation Manager will provide leadership to the Compensation function and will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the organization's compensation programs. The individual in this position will help define the organization's overall compensation strategy in partnership with the VP Total Rewards and other senior leadership. Working closely with HR partners and key business leaders around the organization the Compensation Manager will provide consulting and strategic support on all compensation topics to drive business needs.

A Day in the Life:

Strategy:

Play a crucial role in developing and implementing compensation strategies aligned to the company's goals and HR/Total Rewards guiding principles.Partner with key business leaders and HR partners to ensure compensation programs drive the needs of various business segments.Consult with senior leadership to evaluate and design annual incentive, long-term incentive, and sales incentive programs ensuring alignment with the organization's short and long-term goals. Administration: Ensures compensation programs are competitive against market and are driving effective performance and behaviors across the organization.Own and lead the annual year end enterprise compensation planning process, covering merit, annual bonus recommendations, and long-term incentive payouts.Effectively communicate compensation programs to leaders and associates to improve awareness of various compensation programs.Provide leadership on the calculation and communication of sales incentive payouts on a quarterly basis, in partnership with Sales Operations.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (minimum wage, FLSA, etc.). Coordinates and manages ad hoc projects and analysis on trends and future programs to drive innovation within the compensation and total rewards areas.Responsible for leading a team of compensation professionals to include performance evaluations, associate development, policy administration, and cost control.Executive Compensation Support:Provide consulting and guidance on executive level roles, including offers, market pricing, and annual compensation planning for executives.Prepares materials for Human Resources Committee meetings and provides additional support to the VP Total Rewards and SVP Chief Human Resources Officer.Nice to Have: Bachelor's or Master's degree.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCP). Prior health insurance / healthcare experience.Experience with WorkdayRequired Skills & Experience: 7+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferrable skills, and military experience will be considered.Prior experience managing individual contributors. Willingness to innovate and create solutions that drive business needs.Strong consulting and communication skills.Advanced analytics skills and systems experience (e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc).Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and foster trust in handling confidential situations.Make A Difference
