About the Position
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing comprehensive testing solutions for various web applications hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Overseeing routine projects while managing risks and resource allocations effectively.
  • Leading QA initiatives across diverse teams, including collaboration with offshore contractors.
  • Training and guiding junior team members to enhance their skills.
  • Addressing complex challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Influencing and presenting effective QA strategies for clients and products.
  • Planning, designing, maintaining, and executing test cases with limited direction.
  • Alerting management to potential risks promptly and preparing contingency plans.
  • Ensuring that the functional and regression test suites are current and relevant by collaborating with various project teams.
  • Guaranteeing that functional testing and automation of client applications are completed prior to product releases.
  • Contributing to departmental objectives and goals of a specific business unit or function.
  • Engaging and negotiating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Product Management team during estimation meetings, requirements gathering, and the design writing process.
About You
You are an ideal candidate for the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer role if you possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Over 6 years of experience in related areas, including regression testing, automation testing, and test case design.
  • Proficiency in Java and familiarity with the Selenium automation framework (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases (preferred).
  • The ability to explain complex concepts and persuade others to embrace new ideas and initiatives.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences.
  • A proven track record throughout the complete software development lifecycle, from planning to implementation and maintenance.
