What you'll do...

The Ford Model e Customer Team's purpose is to deliver experiences that delight & empower our customers to move into the EV future and thrive as Ford owners.

The Model e Graphic Designer is responsible for building our content creation capability from the ground up. This individual will partner with a small but mighty team to rethink how Model e creates content and what an amazing digital experience is for our customers. As a Graphic Designer, you will not only be responsible for visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our audience, but you will also be responsible for final produced assets to support the strategy. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, color theory and editing graphics/images for final production use. You will work closely with the creative teams to produce high-quality designs and content that align with our brand identity and effectively convey our message to our target audience.

  1. Collaborate with the team to develop effective and creative cross-channel content strategies. This includes co-creating the foundational briefs that drive what success looks like.
  2. Never loses sight of their objective–to deliver inspiring content and great creative thinking. They inspire and motivate, and are also the first to defend the truth when needed.
  3. Co-lead brainstorming sessions with site design and copy writing to originate fresh, innovative creative ideas quickly that deliver on strategic story arc, including
  4. Videos
  5. Graphics
  6. Animations / GIFs
  7. Content
  8. UI / functionality
  9. Photo / video editing
  10. Design and produce visual elements such as logos, original images, graphics and illustrations for production use that help deliver our strategy
  11. Responsible for content across all Model e digital websites, most specifically design, images, graphics and content, including:
  • Model e vehicle nameplate pages on
  • Electric vehicle education pages
  • Home charging and public charging ecosystem
  • Commerce experience
  • Instore point of sale tool
  1. Recommend measures to improve work process methods including usage of generative AI to create iterative versions of content to leverage across a personalized experience.
  2. Ensure Model e content fits inside brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual communication materials
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to continuously improve.

This position is remote unless candidates live within 50 miles of one of our offices then it will be hybrid.

Candidates will be expected to work eastern time zone business hours.

You'll have...

  • Associates degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
  • 5+ years of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience with generative AI tools such as firefly or other tools.
  • An outstanding portfolio that showcases highly conceptual abilities, along with the high-end production experience necessary.

  • Experience being a photographer and postproduction editing a bonus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
