Position Summary: We are currently in search of a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Juneau, AK. This role is essential in supporting the management of various projects through effective cost analysis, scheduling, billing, and overall project assistance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a firm commitment to safety and integrity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment in line with company policies and participate in safety initiatives.
- Assist Site Superintendents and Project Managers with project operations, timelines, and financial management.
- Utilize digital modeling tools such as Trimble, Topcon, or Agtech software for project visualization.
- Support Project Managers with daily operational tasks, including material billing and procurement processes.
- Contribute to the development of both long-term and short-term project schedules.
- Participate in pre-job and weekly meetings with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate cost reporting and billing quantities.
- Facilitate the transfer of information from estimating software to job cost systems.
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to address project-related issues.
- Oversee team members reporting to the Project Coordinator role.
- Be prepared to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required for project success.
Qualifications:
- Safety-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's degree with 3-6 years of engineering experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- A positive attitude and a spirit of adventure.
Skills:
- Self-motivated with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in 3D modeling and drafting techniques.
- Familiarity with software such as Primavera P6, MS Office, JDE, and HCSS.
- Preferred experience with Trimble Business Center and Road Design.
- Capability to generate daily job-cost reports and manage subcontractor responsibilities.
- Understanding of construction surveying principles.
