Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate transition initiatives in alignment with VA objectives.
  • Conduct standardized briefings on VA Benefits and Services.
  • Engage in one-on-one consultations and pre-separation counseling.
  • Support military life cycle events and Capstone activities.
  • Ensure effective warm-handover support for transitioning service members.

Operational Duties:

  • Manage staffing, event logistics, and communication at the designated installation.
  • Oversee operational deployment activities for personnel.
  • Coordinate travel management for team members.
  • Develop and implement a coverage model for the installation.
  • Schedule and facilitate training sessions for field staff.
  • Conduct order reviews and manage inventory effectively.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and site lead discussions.
  • Keep installation staff informed about new policies and operational guidelines.
  • Implement quality management and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver on-site activities and gather post-event feedback.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Knowledge of VA benefits programs.
  • Familiarity with the transitioning service member demographic.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong customer service and support capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivering presentations to live audiences.
  • Insight into military operations and experience with military clientele.
  • Awareness of current veteran issues and challenges during transitions.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years of relevant work or military experience.
  • Preferred focus in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or Human Resources.
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous.
