Order Management/Customer Service Specialist

Job Description:

The Order Management Specialist is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Installation, Production, Sales, and Warehouse departments to ensure excellent service to our current and prospective customers as well as:


• Respond to customer inquiries and collects appropriate information and pass off to the appropriate person.


• Process production orders, sales orders and quotes, and other supporting documents in an accurate and timely manner. Monitors orders through the system and sales process as necessary.


• Communicate, relay and provide important information to customers. Follows up with customers as necessary. Provides updates as requested to support the customer.


• Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses, inventory requests and other relevant inquiries.


• Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries or production.


• Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.


• Schedule delivery routes, dig locates, installation jobs, and production orders as needed.

Skills:

Customer service, Order entry, Data entry, Customer support, Microsoft office

Additional Skills & Qualifications:


• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training in customer service, sales or administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Ability to work well with others as well as independently.


• Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills including persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers. You should be able to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.


• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.


• Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for accuracy.


• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.

Experience with MS Office and specifically Excel is required

Pay: $20
