Position Overview:
As a Property Risk Management Specialist, you will undertake comprehensive risk evaluation assessments to identify potential threats that may lead to property damage and subsequent operational disruptions. Your consulting expertise will be crucial in conveying assessment results to site leadership and Travelers stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized Risk Assessment surveys at intricate client locations to pinpoint potential hazards and risk factors, assisting in underwriting and risk selection.
- Document and communicate findings and recommendations to Account Executives and clients.
- Advise clients on strategies to manage hazards to minimize or prevent losses.
- Act as a technical resource for Risk Control Consultants and Underwriters.
- Foster and maintain productive relationships with underwriting teams, brokers, and other Risk Control personnel.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and emerging issues within the technical specialist field.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Fire Sciences or an engineering discipline is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Property Loss Prevention or Risk Control is required.
