Position SummaryOur thriving organization is seeking a knowledgeable construction financial specialist to oversee and manage all monetary transactions. This role encompasses accounts receivable and payable, general ledger entries, and payroll management.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all financial transactions, including credit card and bank reconciliations, while managing the accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of financial records, tax documentation, contracts, annual budgets, and financial statements.
- Supervise the general ledger and journal entries for precision, preparing balance sheets and financial reports for review.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide comprehensive financial reporting, ensuring accurate forecasting of costs, timelines, and budgets for construction projects.
- Address any invoice discrepancies and ensure timely processing of invoices, checks, and payroll.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- A high school diploma is mandatory; an associate's degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
- A minimum of five years of experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping within the construction industry is required.
