PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

This position is located within the Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) department of SAP. This department is directly assigned to the CAO of SAP within the area of Global Accounting, Reporting and Tax (GAR&T) within the CFO Board area and is responsible for the completeness and correctness of SAP's IFRS accounting and for SAP's external financial reporting under German and U.S. law.

CFR is structured in the following sub teams: 'Local Accounting & Reporting', 'Corporate Revenue Recognition', "External Reporting and Accounting Technology" as well as "Global IFRS Excellence". The position reports to the head of Global IFRS Excellence but supports the heads of all CFR sub teams.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Responsible for the operation of daily office functions and duties, including administrative support to heads of the CFR sub teams within the available working time.

This includes:

  • Skillfully planning and managing diary/calendar and prioritize schedules for the Managers on their behalf.
  • Streamlining and managing Workflow processes and monitoring items like vacation requests, purchase orders, internal orders, distribution lists, etc.
  • Point of contact for all departmental onboarding including HR requests and equipment allocation/distribution.
  • Creating and updating materials including PowerPoint and excel spreadsheets for internal/client meetings and presentations.
  • Coordinate all department activities and manage all content on shared drives and communities.
  • Developing collaborative work relationships within own team and within limited scope cross-functional.
  • Research, preparation, execution and follow up of strategic meetings with internal and external stakeholders including tracking/monitoring of the business/projects.
  • Planning and execution of event management for offsites and events.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills:

  • Fluency in spoken and written English (with German language being a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable to collaborate with all hierarchy levels across the organization.
  • Assertive and able to work independently and multitask supporting 4+ individuals on an ongoing basis with solid prioritization skills to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skillset with MS Office Tools.
  • Prior experience with SAP specific tools (S/4 HANA, SuccessFactors, Concur, etc) a plus.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience as secretary or comparable experience.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 68, ,300 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
