Enterprise Technology Infrastructure, Platforms & Services (ETIPS) delivers services and operational support to meet business integration objectives. DDI Senior Network Engineer supports DNS services across our global enterprise. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining DNS Infoblox supported infrastructure with a focus on platform project work, customer consultation, conducting seamless change activities, providing quick and effective incident resolution during high pressure war room situations, supporting customer requests, and contributing to strategic initiatives to advance the quality and capabilities of our IT service offerings to our customers. On-call escalation support will be part of the role, as will operating effectively in a 24x7 environment with colleagues from around the world.

The Senior Network Engineer's responsibilities also include providing network related analysis, design, and integration services including coordination between clients, vendors, and other internal support services and includes both data and voice. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed for this role and will work with less structured, more complex issues, while serving as a resource to others.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience networking, switching and firewall environments
  • 5+ years of experience with DNS Technologies
  • 5+ years of experience managing Service Now queue
  • 2+ years of Infoblox DNS experience including providing on-call support including working outside of normal business hours and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Infoblox, including DNS, NTP, IP Address Management, BIND, DHCP and related services including Configuration and Management involving Grid Master, Grid Manager, Grid Members

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
