Coordinate the administration of Associate Benefit Programs such as medical coverage, dental, group life insurance, retirement plans, health and wellness initiatives, and other benefit plans and programs. Carry out responsibilities in benefits administration, advising Associates and management on the interpretation of benefit policies, programs, and procedures.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for administration of billing and premium collection.

· Request vendor payments.

· Responsible for tracking Associate leaves of absence and coordinating short term disability benefits.

· Consults with and advises Associates on eligibility, plan provisions, and other matters related to benefits.

· Responsible for administration of court orders related to healthcare benefits.

· Support role on benefit plan implementations.

· Track, analyze and maintain associate plan cost data.

· Maintains employee benefits records within HRIS system.

· Ensures correct eligibility is transmitted to various vendors and administrators.

· Assist with development and distribution of benefit communications including associate presentations.

· Support company wellness programs.

· Assists on special projects as needed such as open enrollment, implementation of new benefits, etc.

· Support Senior Manager and Senior Analysts with data collection and analysis.

· Train HR personnel on benefits processes and use of benefit administrator portal.

Minimum Qualifications:

· One to two years of experience or equivalent combination of education preferred.

· Knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits laws.

· Time management, organizational and documentation skills.

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Ability to handle all issues.

· Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal and presentation skills.

· Requires the ability to adapt to change and new priorities.

· Requires objectivity when making decisions.

· Professional certification a plus.
