San Francisco, California, United States Match Group Full time

Our Mission

As humans, there are few things more exciting than meeting someone new. At Tinder, we're inspired by the challenge of keeping the magic of human connection alive. With tens of millions of users, hundreds of millions of downloads, 2+ billion swipes per day, 20+ million matches per day, and a presence in 190+ countries, our reach is expansive—and rapidly growing.

We work together to solve complex problems. Behind the simplicity of every match, we think deeply about human relationships, behavioral science, network economics, AI and ML, online and real-world safety, cultural nuances, loneliness, love, sex, and more.

About the Role

As a Principal Product Manager on the Revenue team at Tinder, you will have the opportunity to build exceptional revenue products for millions of users globally, with the goal of improving their chances of sparking a connection on Tinder. You will have a direct impact on the overall subscriber experience: from ensuring that subscribers fully understand the benefits they unlock when they pay, to increasing the value our subscriptions deliver with the introduction of new features that support users as they browse, flirt, and connect. You will collaborate closely with our Core Product team, and enable all teams across the company to make the Tinder experience better for our subscribers.

The Revenue Team is responsible for building on-ramps and engagement experiences to drive premium experiences and increased member value, delivering meaningful connections for millions of worldwide members. The Revenue Product team is fundamental to the success of Tinder - driving initiatives that impact member conversion, engagement, and revenue.

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three times per week. This position is located in either San Francisco, Palo Alto or West Hollywood, CA.

In this role, you will:

  • Vision and Strategy: In this role, you will lead the strategy, execution, and user story for the subscriber experience: the benefits that our subscription products offer, and how our users understand the program.
  • Subscriber Value and Experience: Deep understanding of our subscribers' wants and needs, as we support them in broadening and deepening connections. Unlock meaningful, new value for our subscribers, that they understand and use frequently. Own highly-visible surfaces in the Tinder app that represent our subscription and its benefits, and ensure that every subscriber touchpoint is a delightful and integral part of our subscribers' dating journeys.
  • Efficient Execution: This role will require individual contributor work, and you will be heavily involved in multiple, complex projects.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Enable all teams across Tinder to make our platform better for our subscribers. When we build new features, we have a perspective on the outsized benefit our subscribers will receive. You will have a seat at the table when net new features are being created across all teams (e.g. Core) to inform what should be a free vs. paid feature
  • Team Leadership: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Define and establish high-level goals, standards, benchmarks, and organizational processes around Tinder's subscriber experience.

You have:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic product management, focused on building consumer products at scale at a high-velocity consumer tech company.
  • 2+ years of experience working on a consumer subscription product.
  • T-shaped leadership: ability to go down to the lowest level of detail on key initiatives, as well as clearly communicating the progress and vision to the leadership team.
  • Strong ownership mindset and high operational efficiency, with the ability to manage multiple projects with low context-switching costs.
  • Ability to prioritize the highest impact projects, break them down into milestones to test key assumptions, develop hypotheses through fast experimentation, and pivot based on experiment learnings.
  • Highly effective written & spoken communication skills, and the ability to convey a succinct message to cross functional partners and leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of subscription economics, with the ability to dive into data and forecasts, understand trends, and use this understanding to drive subscriber growth and profitability.

As part of our team, you'll enjoy:

  • Unlimited PTO (with no waiting period), 10 annual Wellness Days
  • Time off to volunteer and charitable donations matched up to $15,000 annually
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage
  • 100% 401(k) employer match up to 10%, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
  • 100% paid parental leave (including for non-birthing parents), family forming benefits, and Milk Stork, which provides access to breast milk shipping for business travel, surrogacy, and employee relocation
  • Investment in your development: mentorship through our MentorMatch program, access to 6,000+ online courses through Udemy, and an annual $3,000 stipend for your professional development
  • Investment in your wellness: access to mental health support via Modern Health, BetterHelp, and Insight Timer; paid concierge medical membership, pet insurance, fitness membership subsidy, and commuter subsidy
  • Free subscription to Tinder Gold
