Our client is a Non-Profit organization that helps children, youth, and families face the greatest challenges and provides resources that build on their inherent strengths to help them thrive. They operate 98 programs, which help over 30,000 youth and family members in struggling neighborhoods throughout New York City.
Job Description
- Overall administrative tasks including telephone inquiries, e-mail, internal and external mail, scheduling meetings, and calendar management for departmental heads
- Establish a positive employer-employee relationship; create and sustain an equitable and inclusive culture; and promote a high level of employee morale, confidence and motivation
- Support the consistent and equitable implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Respond to employee relations issues and concerns promptly and effectively
- Support time and attendance management, contract issuance, on-boarding and exit procedures
- Maintain secure and confidential human resource-related files and records
- Engage in data analysis and compile information for routine reporting and analysis
- Conduct new hire orientation for all location
- Educate HR Policies & Procedures
- Educate Benefits options available
- Keep HRIS system up to date with all payroll related information
