Description
Tufin is seeking to hire a Deal Manager to support the company's global sales organization. The role is based in Boston (Tufin's global HQ) and part of our growing Revenue Operations organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a PE-backed company that is a leader in network security policy automation. As a member of the Revenue Operations Team, the Deal Manager will work to be a trusted advisor to sales management on commercial transaction structures and help craft deals that include "the art of the possible" to drive our revenue growth through creativity. The Deal Manager will be the point of contact for strategic and custom deals and subject matter expert to link our field personnel to the appropriate back office resources in various Tufin departments.
Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the field sales team early in the sales cycle to manage proposal development and shape strategic agreements.
  • Engage directly with customers to lead and/or partipate in commercial and agreement discussions.
  • Ensure sales and negotiation strategies adhere to established guidelines and policies.
  • Deal support for sales including quote creation and ensuring compliance with sales and business approval policies.
  • Be a subject matter expert on sales and revenue compliance policies and advise on alternative compliant contract options.
  • Partner with the Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to review or address revenue recognition and Finance and billing issues, special terms, and pricing for non-standard deals.
  • Manage Tufin's repository of proposal responses and standard customer facing documentation.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of related experience in deal management, deals desk, finance or revenue operations positions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience with Salesforce and CPQ
  • Knowledge of business management areas contributing to successful deal outcomes such as sales, deal desk, deal negotiations, sales operations, order processing, fulfillment, revenue recognition, legal contracts, purchase orders, and license agreements
  • Experience with deal pricing, strategy, contracting and customer negotiations
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation) and ability to engage across all levels of management, teams and customers
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility during End of Month, End of Quarter.
