GumGum's Senior Product Manager will own and create a roadmap focusing on cutting-edge machine learning technologies to meet market needs. Our team, composed of world-class data scientists, engineers, and product managers, works with machine learning and AI technologies designed to interpret digital content across text, images, video, and audio. The successful candidate thrives in a scrappy, startup environment, and excels in a lean team that wears many hats and experiments to develop the best possible product.

Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.

What You'll Achieve

  • Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for machine learning initiatives, focusing on signal production and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop contextual data products.
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights.
  • Ensure product meets high standards of usability, functionality, and performance.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements and user stories.
  • Work with engineering, data science, sales, marketing, customer success, and senior leadership for product development and launch.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in AI, ML, and advertising.

Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5 years of product management experience in tech companies, focusing on data products.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, machine learning, NLP, and computer vision.
  • Proven track record in managing successful products.
  • Technical background to interact with data scientists and engineers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to tackle ambiguous problems and make informed decisions.
  • Startup mentality, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for large-scale issues.

What We Offer

At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from ($135,000 - $152,000) annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.

The total rewards package offered also includes an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and depending on the role, participation in a bonus, commission, or stock incentive program.
