Position Overview: Senior Kitchen Manager

We are on the lookout for a skilled Senior Kitchen Manager to enhance our culinary team. This role will involve close collaboration with the Head Chef to uphold exceptional standards of food quality and presentation within our kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional appearance standards as outlined in the employee handbook
  • Handle customer feedback and concerns with professionalism
  • Guide and mentor junior kitchen personnel
  • Oversee staff scheduling and performance evaluations
  • Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and adherence to health regulations
  • Work alongside the Head Chef on menu development
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking processes
  • Manage catering services and special events
  • Monitor inventory levels, procure supplies, and reduce waste
  • Create innovative recipes and daily specials
  • Facilitate effective communication with staff during service
  • Lead training sessions and team meetings
  • Support team members in their roles
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in the culinary field
  • Preferred: Associate degree in Culinary Arts
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of financial management including P&L statements
  • Familiarity with technology and POS systems
