Plans and coordinates the day-to-day administrative, and operational activities of the CHARIOT (Childhood Anxiety Reduction through Innovation and Technology) Program. Monitors and tracks projector, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) equipment and usage; Serves as a principal liaison between care team, faculty, staff, other departments, and/or external constituencies on day-to-day programmatic, operational, and administrative issues; facilitates meetings, special projects, and problem resolution. The coordinator provides project management and logistical support for the CHARIOT program and directly interacts with department managers, vendors and patients as required.

Essential Functions

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

  • Provides day-to-day on-site support for the CHARIOT program and related equipment. Acts as the key point of contact and resource for staff, faculty, management, and outside agencies/institutions and patients.
  • Coordinates all off-site support, for affiliates and other clinic users including ambulatory sites, and joint venture partnerships.
  • Coordinates requests for support from various departments and works with vendors for handling and resolving VR equipment issues.
  • Oversees equipment and supplies allocation. Facilitates periodic inventory review of all virtual reality headsets, projectors, and ancillary equipment and prepares appropriate reports as requested. Monitors and tracks equipment usage; ensures proper storage and transportation of equipment.
  • Gathers and documents feedback on projector, VR, and AR experience from patients. Provides information to developers to make enhancements to the experiences.
  • Assists physicians and care team with data collection, analysis, and compilation on experiences provided by CHARIOT.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the CHARIOT program; includes acting as a liaison on all communications about the program. Schedules and manages appointments, responds to all queries regarding access to and services provided by the VR program.
  • Tests system input of all new technology applications and recommends changes based on user feedback as well as oversees support, maintenance and preparation of projector, VR, and AR devices.
  • Conducts equipment checks. Troubleshoots issues and resolves or escalates accordingly. Provides or facilitates training on proper use of VR equipment.
  • Orders equipment, and coordinates equipment installation as required.
  • Coordinates logistics for the Research Fellowship program. Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education: High school diploma Experience: Two (2) years of progressively responsible positions in affiliated fields or related. Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.

Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (1.0 FTE): $64,272.00 to $72,904.00
