Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ECT Program Coordinator to join our team at Stanford Health Care. This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of care and contributing to the provision of high-quality ECT services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care coordination for a caseload of patients in the ECT department, including receiving initial referrals, screening and educating patients, intake, insurance verification, and consult assignment.
  • Utilization review, reviewing patients' appropriateness for service, level of care, and length of stay.
  • Facilitating and monitoring institutions' compliance with guidelines of California Welfare and Institutions codes section as it pertains to ECT.
  • Case management, including intake, referral, treatment planning, resource allocation, and monitoring with allied healthcare workers.
  • Education and administrative tasks, including scheduling OR cases, tracking ECT numbers, and maintaining ECT supplies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other medical field.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of human behavior, mental and emotional health, mental health intake, assessment, and treatment referral processes.
  • Ability to collect data, document accurate information, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
