SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The purpose of this position is to execute the Emergency Management (EM), Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN), and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) emergency response, logistics, and training programs.

The position develops, manages, and executes the EM programs, ensuring all military, civilian and contract personnel are trained and equipped to support home station and worldwide contingency operations.

Assists in the development and coordination of plans and procedures for implementation and execution of the Installation Emergency Management Plan (IEMP 10-2).

Assists in conducting initial/recurring training for functional areas of EM.
Maintains Emergency Management response equipment, training resources, and supply inventories.
Collaborates with on and off-base units and agencies, on EM programs, policies, and procedures.
Serves as a CBRN Response team member. Executes established plans and procedures for emergency response actions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
