Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified SharePoint Specialist to oversee the functionality, design, and precision of web platforms while providing support for a SharePoint environment. This role is integral to maintaining operational excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer websites across both unclassified and classified networks.
  • Oversee the management of a SharePoint environment.
  • Ensure the operational integrity, visual appeal, and accuracy of web platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Knowledge Manager and leadership to keep web and collaboration services current across all networks.
  • Implement updates and modifications to align with the latest messaging.
  • Work closely with staff to uphold content integrity on web platforms and perform content audits.

Essential Qualifications

  • Must possess TS/SCI Clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 6-8 years is required.
  • Certification in SharePoint or Office 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in custom coding (X)HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • A dedicated, motivated individual who meets deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and W3C coding standards is highly preferred.
  • Advanced skills in using Photoshop for web image optimization are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of progressive enhancement, mobile-first design, and future-friendly design principles is desirable.
