Job Description

The Product Development Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

Conduct feasibility studies and market research to identify potential product opportunities.Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and prototypes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure successful product development.Perform testing and validation of new products to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and production teams during the product launch phase.Continuously improve and refine existing products based on customer feedback and industry trends.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of products.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering3-5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the industrial machinery manufacturing sector.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.GD&T and Strong Mechanical Design experience preferred.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong mechanical aptitude (automotive, electrical, or hydraulics experience).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
