Vaco Denver is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our client's team in the Denver Metro Area. Please review the job description below and apply with an updated resume.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, expense reports, accounts receivable, job costing, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and others.
  • Prepare schedules and reports to support cash management, budgets, and accounts reconciliations and analysis.
  • Maintains and updates supporting documentation such as fixed assets schedules.
  • Assists with all aspects of accounting and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepting accounting principles (GAAP) in a multi-company environment.
  • Reviews financial data for accuracy; identifies problems and supports day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to research and reconcile discrepancies and verify documents in accordance with accounting procedures and policies.
  • Ad hoc and special projects as required.
  • Other support as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related business field
  • 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Working experience with accounting systems is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team group environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain information confidentiality and handle with discretion.
