Job Description:

At EnerBank, the Collections Representative is responsible for the daily collection process, which includes communications with customers at all levels of delinquency.

EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contacts customers by telephone or other approved methods for the purpose of resolving the delinquent status of accounts
  • Counsels customers to available payment options
  • Documents outcomes and actions taken in collection system notes
  • Processes customer payments via phone

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferences

  • One (1) year of relevant experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good customer service
  • Good Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of collection software

This position is available onsite in Salt Lake City or Provo, Utah. Post training period a flex schedule of in office and remote work is possible. This position is not available fully remote. A full time schedule of 40 hours, Monday through Friday during business hours is expected. A monthly bonus incentive on top of base hourly pay is available to earn for all associates in this role. Additionally, offers made to qualified candidates prior to year end 2022 will include a $2,000 sign on bonus
