We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Finance Representative to join our team at Specialized Bicycle Components. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts, providing positive customer service, and maintaining low Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining low DSO rates
  • Process credit cards, interact with retailers, sales force, and upper management
  • Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management to accelerate the collection process or make large credit decisions
  • High volume of phone calls and customer interfacing to collect on delinquencies
  • Assist in opening new business opportunities, including requesting and analyzing financial statements, recommending credit limits, and collecting receivables in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Business degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in the collections and/or credit field
  • Strong customer support background and meticulous attention to details
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven follow-up skills and ability to ask customers for payment
  • Analyzing financial statements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel and Word experience is a must; Oracle experience is preferred
