PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Function:
Ensures exceptional customer service and aids the maintenance team in keeping all common areas near entrances and exits tidy.
- Assists patrons in processing payments through fully automated revenue control systems.
- Facilitates customer parking services and promotes the smooth flow of traffic throughout the facility.
- Implements initiatives to enhance client and customer satisfaction.
- Supports the management of daily operations at the assigned site.
- Monitors customers in payment lanes.
- Engages with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provides assistance to customers who may have forgotten their vehicle's location.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.
- Conducts audits of the garage and facility as directed by management.
- Counts the revenue 'bank' at the start of shifts to ensure accuracy.
- Handles cash transactions and provides change as necessary.
- Quotes pricing for parking services.
- Guides customers to various city locations.
- Addresses customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
- Answers phone calls promptly and courteously when required.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the facility and collects litter in the vicinity.
- Maintains a professional appearance (neat attire and uniform) at all times while on duty.
- Punctually arrives for scheduled shifts.
- Completes any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Experience: Familiarity with automated parking access control systems or a strong aptitude for technology.
Work Availability: Shift requirements may vary based on the hiring needs of the location. Availability for 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be necessary.
License Requirement: A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record is required.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and make change accurately.
Language Skills: Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting the English language. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and address problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changes in the work environment and manage unexpected events.
Judgment: Demonstrates sound and accurate judgment.
Other Skills:
Proficient in using timekeeping devices, calculators, or credit card machines for transactions. Maintains a pleasant demeanor when interacting with the public and effectively addresses customer issues.
Must exhibit a proactive attitude with strong customer service skills and a willingness to lead by example. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
