Gordon Food Service is hiring for a Business Transformation Growth and Strategy Manager. This person will lead a team that will oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that will transform the Limson/NATL Imports and Commodities business processes, operations, and systems. Manages risk mitigation initiatives. Creates the LRP vision to meet strategic growth objectives. Researches, creates, implements, and tracks industry best practices to ensure Limson/NATL is using industry leading processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive business transformation strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in the organization's business processes, operations, and systems.
  • Leads the development of business cases for transformation initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and return on investment.
  • Establishes metrics and performance indicators to track progress and measure the success of transformation initiatives.
  • Oversees the implementation of transformation initiatives, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and with the desired outcomes.
  • Interviews, hires, trains and retains staff as appropriate. Supports career development of team members. Conducts annual performance reviews for direct reports, initiating follow through with disciplinary action and termination in consultation with Human Resources.
  • Develops and manages relationships with external partners, vendors, and consultants as necessary.
  • Communicates effectively with key stakeholders, including senior executives, board members, and staff, to build support for transformation initiatives.
  • Leads change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and other activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Supports corporate strategic planning, providing key direction for Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), and Strategic Projects; recommends/establishes goals and targets at the corporate, business unit, and functional area levels.
  • Business resource for evaluating, implementing, and acquiring strategic businesses and ventures related to the Imports and Commodities Business.


Ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven track record of delivering successful business transformation initiatives, including process improvement, system implementation, and organizational change management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, develop insights, and make data-driven recommendations. Must have financial auditing experience to skillfully handle KPMG audit changes required.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Experience leading teams and managing direct reports


Experience:
  • Bachelor degree required Business administration, Management, or related
  • Ten years previous finance or accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Prefer: At least 4 years financial experience with imports and commodities business
