Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Project Coordinator is a critical member of the enterprise Project Management Office and works closely with multiple project managers to ensure the success of internal and client-facing projects related to Corrona's work in auto-immune research and real world evidence for the pharmaceutical industry.
The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to support Project Managers through all stages of the project lifecycle including maintaining project plans using PM software.
Another key responsibility is organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas and documenting decisions and action items.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, flexible, and excellent at communication. They will have a positive attitude and be comfortable using critical thinking skills for problem solving. The Project Coordinator position is an excellent opportunity to prepare the right individual for a career in project management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Utilizing PM software:
maintain project plans, monitor timelines, track progress, document changes
- Maintain project-related documentation: proposals, agendas, meeting minutes and change requests
- Coordinate, participate in and contribute to project meetings
- Prepare project status reports for clients and internal project stakeholders
- Support department initiatives in addition to assigned projects
- Additional duties may be assigned, either temporary or permanent based on company needs
- Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience
- Interest in career growth within the field of project management
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to coordinate multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Must possess strong English communication, writing, and follow-up skills
- Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Must possess a positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy
- Strong proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfort-level with collaboration tools for communication and document sharing
- Experience in research preferred
- Must be committed to developing professionally
- Completion of Human Subjects Protection (HSP) training (provided by Corrona)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Remote position, with strong preference for candidates local to Waltham, MA
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Travel within the US - up to 15%
